(Pleasanton) Directs and manages the functions and responsibilities for: General Accounting, Accounts payable, Payroll, Decision Support, Financial Planning, Budgeting and other crucial and critical projects as may be assigned. Other responsibilities include maintaining banking, bond, and departmental relationships.
Under the general direction of the CFO, addresses and resolves issues related to the financial operations of the hospital and other entities in the health system. Responsible for assuring adherence to established procedures and financial policies. Recommends changes in policy and programs to achieve the systems objectives: provides leadership, direction and management of all financial systems.
Requirements
1. Bachelors Degree preferred with higher preference being given to Masters and or CPA.
2. Progressively responsible experience in healthcare with a demonstrated in-depth knowledge and experience in managing assigned responsibilities.
3. Able to work in a dynamic environment and able to shift priorities as the work may demand.
4. Able to communicate issues and concepts with Administration and Department Directors.
5. Work in a health care environment or at a public accounting firm.
6. Experience in a highly computerized organization and familiarity with financial and patient care information systems.
7. Solid analytical skill with demonstrated achievement in assessing situational needs for developing and implementing appropriate solutions with a multi-disciplinary team approach.
8. Other duties as may be assigned.
