Project Coordinator

(San Ramon, CA) (Company Confidential) is currently seeking a Project Coordinator for our rapidly growing business. The successful candidate will act as a liaison between the company, its clients, internal departments and carriers in coordinating installation and billing projects for local, long distance, Internet, and WAN services. The Project Coordinator will also audit and enter orders into an OSS platform, provide support for service issues; respond to client inquiries; and assist on special projects.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Coordinate new installations, moves, and disconnect orders and projects

  • Coordinate new service and installation dates with Account Managers, Implementation Engineers, affiliates, customers, and vendors.

  • Ensure that all clients’ milestones and deliverables are met in a timely manner, including time sensitive moves, new products, multi-carrier and/or multi-product solutions

  • Work with the Team to continuously evaluate whether anything is prohibiting the commitments outlined during the sales process from being met in a timely manner, based on the timeline expected by and promised to the client

  • Ensure adherence to provisioning guidelines and fundamentals to provide accurate and timely communication with customers.

  • Maintain internal tracking databases up to date

  • Assist in maintaining an accurate client inventory

  • Assist on special projects



  • QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1-2 years of experience in project coordination, preferably in the telecommunication industry with knowledge of applications such as MS Project.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong PC skills including in depth knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook

  • Strong data entry skills

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills

  • Excellent organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills

  • Attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment

  • Self-motivated, with high learning aptitude, and initiative

  • 1-2 years of experience in telecommunication technologies including Local, Long Distance, Data, Internet and high cap services desirable.

  • 3-4 years of demonstrated experience within a fast paced customer service environment

  • Demonstrated experience with client relations and vendor interface

  • 1-2 years of demonstrated experience with various carriers including facilities-based and non-facilities-based CLECs, and ILECs; experience with RBOCs and other large/national connectivity providers.

  • BA/BS strongly preferred
